How Sparkflights works

Priced for the distance

Each fare is judged by its cost per mile against its market. $450 to Tokyo can be a better deal than $150 to Denver.

From your city

Deals from airports near you come first, in every cabin from economy to first.

Watch a route

Pick where and when, and the deals that fit come by email or browser notification.

What counts as a deal?

A fare that is low for the distance it covers. Each market and cabin has a cost-per-mile limit; fares under it are listed, the furthest under first. More about how deals are picked.

How do I book?

Open a fare and use its booking button.

What is a watch?

You pick a route, the dates you could go and the most you'd pay. When a fare fits, you get it by email or browser notification, with a link to its page. A watch can name a route or just your city. Watch a route.

What does it cost?

Nothing. Watches need a free account; you sign in with Google or Microsoft.

How do I stop the emails?

Every watch email has a "Stop these emails" link at the bottom. You can also turn email or browser notifications off on the Watches page.

How do I sign in or out?

Use "Sign in" at the top of any page. Once you are signed in, your picture is there instead; it has Sign out. Your account, notifications and plan are in Settings.

How do I delete my account?

Open Settings and choose "Delete my account". A free account is deleted at once, with its watches and settings. A paid one keeps working until the end of the period you paid for and is deleted then, with no further charges. You can also email [email protected] from your account's address.

Can I use Sparkflights in Claude or ChatGPT?

Yes. Add Sparkflights to your chat, then ask for deals from your city.

How do I reach you?

Email [email protected] with questions, problems or a fare that looks wrong.
